Looking good...you have almost the same exact setup in the rear that I will have in a week or so. Only difference is I will be running 7100 remote resi shocks instead.

 

I thought about doing remote reservoir, but I don't do very much high speed stuff. Do you know what you're going to do to make the front level, or are you just going to do something to keep the height down?

 

I dunno yet. I like a decent amount of rake, so I will probably leave it as is. The front is already lifter a good bit, so I don't think it will be too bad. The only reason I am going the remote resi is because I am getting a killer deal on them.

 

Just changed the lube in the rear diff to Red Line Heavy ShockProof Gear Oil. I figured that and overfilling it would help keep the pinion lubricated better since I have my differential pitched up for driveline angle. Getting 3.5 qts of gear oil in the diff is a little tricky; especially when it starts coming out of the fill hole after just 2 qts.

easiest way to do that is to jack up one side of the axle.. that way all the fluid runs down the axle tube instead of out the fill hole...

 

I'm not sure it would find it's way back into the diff if I did that?

 

its gonna level back out once you let the jack down... its a fluid, its always gonna level out inside the axle when the truck is or is not level..

 

Yeah, but IIRC there are something like baffles to keep the gear oil from just running out the axle tubes.

 

Okay, so I ordered a shorty antenna to replace mine since I broke it off while offroading. It's a bolt on replacement from cravenspeed.com $25 after shipping

It works pretty well too. Better than no antenna anyway.

 

At least as good as the stocker? Better maybe?

 

I know when i switched I didnt notice a difference lol
