I'd be afraid to hook up nitrous to a stock engine...

When I was 2 or 3 years old, my parents bought me this foot-powered ride-on car. It was plastic; white with a blue seat, an orange push bar on the back, blue tires, and yellow wheels. I think it was either Fisher Price or Little Tikes. This was in addition to the red and yellow Cozy Coupe I also got in about 1991-1992 (every kid born after 1980 probably had one of those). I have no idea what brand the sit-on car was. I just remember that while the Cozy Coupe and the Kettler pedal Go-Kart were outside toys, the car I am talking about was an "inside" toy.

The car's primary source of power was the rider's feet. It had a functional steering wheel with front wheels that turned. You just sat down on the seat and scooted around, unless you had a creative father like I did...

Quite often, my dad would grab a broom and push me around the house with the handle. My dad has always been in particularly good shape, and has always been able to run like hell as a result. Using a broom handle, my dad would push me all around the first floor of our house, always expecting me to crash or hit something. I never did though...

From 1991-1994, I had quite a fleet! The Cozy Coupe was sold at a garage sale in 1996 when I started to outgrow it. I also had two tricycles, a old metal one painted in metallic green with white spoked wheels and a newer plastic red one. These were also sold at that same 1996 garage sale, also because I was outgrowing them. My parents bought me my first "big boy bike" in 1994 or so, and the training wheels came off a short time later. This bike was donated if I remember correctly, after my parents bought me a bigger bike in 1996. From 1996 to 1998, I had a bicycle, the Kettler go-kart, a red wagon, a scooter, and the Power Wheels Jeep. My dad sold the Jeep in 1998 when I started to outgrow it. The one ride-on I wish I had but didn't was a Big Wheel...

NOTE: These are not pictures of the actual ride-on toys I had as a kid!

As someone on the autism spectrum who not only grew up watching Sesame Street but also had to deal with fellow students (and adults) who didn't understand Aspergers and the various behavior quirks that came with it, this is a pretty big deal in my opinion; Sesame Place has become the world's first autism-accredited theme park!

CLICK HERE to see the article my friend from Hong Kong sent me this morning!

I was totally unaware of this, but Sesame Street also introduced its first character with autism last year! CLICK HERE to meet Julia!

A bit off-topic as a response to your post, but totally on-topic for this forum as a whole...

I think your 3rd Gen looks a bit like a newer version of my 2nd Gen!

Thanks! Let me see! I'd love to have a 2.7 too. I think they're really charming.

Did I ever tell you about the time I inadvertently stopped a guy from breaking into a Subaru, without lifting a finger?

Oh, there are plenty of single cabs out there...

The trick is finding one that doesn't have a ton of miles, hasn't been beaten to shit, or both!

My truck has it's share of wear and tear, especially around the driver's seat...

However, she has less than 82K on the clock and there's absolutely nothing wrong with her!

Added intermittent wipers and a backup camera as well!

So I was walking around Doylestown, taking pictures...

There was a Subaru parked in a metered spot, and this rather sketchy, heroin addict-looking guy with a backpack was walking along the sidewalk. He walked up to the Subaru and started peering through the windows. I just stood there and stared, not entirely sure what he was doing. This guy realized I was watching him, got that classic "deer in the headlights" look, and immediately retreated. I didn't even say anything to the guy!
