Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

I see this happening in the future on the order screen. Came from a duramax, and when purchasing EFI Live Tuning they have you list all of your mods so that the tune is modified for your specific vehicle.

 

Only problem with that is you have to get another tune as soon as you put on a new mod or get rid of one

 

Another solution for those running extreme mods could be by having OVTUNE charge a "convenience" by customizing it for their exact needs but it would never be perfect unless they brought it in to his shop and it could be quite costly and time consuming so.. a no go.

 

Shit Mat, you might as well call this 1.04.

 

This is going to be perfect timing. I'm just about empty on my tank of 87. Will fill up with 93 (typically don't have 91 in FL), update Flash Manager, and load a brand-new 91 tune.

 

Perfect timing? When do you think this update is going to drop lol?

Yeah that’s true, but it’s just a different trade off than the one we are currently facing. Currently our trade off is quicker accessibility for a tune that caters to a majority. You would be trading off longer wait times for more optimization.

 

I thought same thing last week. 4 tanks of 91 later, I flashed to 1.03 91 this morning.

Even with your 87 tune, and 91 in the tank, you'll feel the engine running smoother, and accelerates bit quicker.

tune will release to-nite.
the only time it doesn't release to-nite is if your not waiting for it,in witch case it becomes ton-nite when you pick it up.
so if it released night before, last night,night of ,tomorrow night,the night after it is always to-night when you pick it up
