I was thinking about getting a pair of those, but not sure about the $400 price tag vs. how well they light up the road. Sub for more pics! :worthless:

Edit, were they pug and play or was there mod required to install?

I might be wrong, but it looks like it might bolt to a high lift and use the curved piece along the wheel to break the bead. I've always had good luck just using the high lift base on the sidewall and jacking at the slider. I still need to get some of those screw in valve stem repair things like Tim has.

    Why?

Just using a high lift positioned close to the base has always worked fine for me too.

If you swing by Discount Tire, they have the TPMS repair kits for cheap. They are also required to replace them if they do a flat repair for you.

He's talking about the valve stems that you can screw in from the outside. Handy for when you shear off a stem on a rock, and don't want to take the tire off the rim to replace it. Great for people like @tacotim448 , who can find every single way possible to have a trail flat. :)

Will have an open passenger seat if you want it at any point. Did you come to lbl? There were so many people there I missed a bunch. Especially since we were at turkey bay all day Saturday.

    Haha. Nice!

As long as you’re within the specs for the Tire you’ll be fine. Just don’t run a really skinny tire on a wide wheel if you ever plan to air down.

Looks like that Tire is approved for up to a 9” wheel, so the 8.5” one you linked should be fine.

How can you tell what the tire is approved for?

In the specs for the tire, it lists wheel width range 6.5-9".
