    Not taking sides, but he did say he chopped the bumper up. I think its safe to assume its either lighter or not even installed anymore.

    Oh goodness.
    1) The bumper now weighs less than the stock set-up
    2) I stated even w/that bumper not on the truck (as in sitting on the ground w/no front bumper on the truck)
    3) Where/when did Fox say not to flip the top hat? That's why I even asked the question because I've never heard them say it's a bad idea.
    4) I'm not pissed, I just think they should advertise it differently. I could probably crank it up to a 4" lift but that wouldn't ride worth a shit & lose all down travel.

    TRD SC, UCON, CNG conversion, RC 6" (lifted 4"/3" air suspension) w/FOX 2.5, 315/70R17 Duratracs, RECARO seats, etc.
    I have 4” lift, 4” downtravel and 4” uptravel with FOX 2.5. Thanks to the RC drop bracket.

    Quick question for all of you that are running a Fox setup. I have a 2017 TRD ORDC. I have been all over the board as far as what type of lift that I want to go with. I was going to do a full 6" BDS drop bracket, then thought of just going with 5100's, even considered just a small level spacer kit. I have run all of these on previous vehicles without issue. After seeing and reading more about the Fox setup; this is what I am more than likely going to go with. Now the only decision to make is which one. Mostly on road, not looking for a huge lift. Going to go with 17" TRD Pro wheels with 267/70R17 Nitto Trail Grapplers (I have run these on almost all of my trucks and love the way they handle on/off road, and wear very well).

    If I am reading correctly; the Fox level 1 or Level 2 would give you about 1" lift out of the box. I have usually gone with a full rear leaf pack as a replacement vs AAL. Would the full pack add too much lift to the rear with only getting 1" out of the fronts, or since the Dakar leaf pack is about 2" of rear lift; that should leave me with about 1" of rake of if the Fox CO's get about 2" then should sit fairly level. Just do not want that bro lean. Any recommendations/suggestions as to Level 1 or Level 2 Fox kit would be greatly appreciated as well as the full leaf pack or the 3 progressive AAL. Looking forward to all of your input.

    Edit: If I knew that I was getting around 2" out of the box in the front, then the Dakar Leaf Pack is definitely the way that i would go for the rears.

    I took my front bumper off today to add an ebay bumper & winch. I have my ext. travel 2.5 C/O's cranked about 4 or 5 threads more than Fox's max. Having no front bumper & any hardware associated w/it, no front anti-sway bar & hardware associated w/it, the 2 braces running front to back just below of where the anti-sway bar would be & assoc. hardware & the 2 nubs outside of the front brace, I'm sitting @ 3" of lift. These Fox 13" 600lb. springs are shit for a so-called 3" lift. Not happy I spent a ton of money on these C/O's just to have to break Fox's recommendations, & remove a ton of shit, to get to their advertised lift of 3". Installing this new front bumper & winch & it's down quite a bit. Still have to add my sliders so it'll drop more. I'll be going w/14" 650lb. springs. My advice to anyone reading this, if you want 3" (2" on 3rd gen) lift then look elsewhere. They ride great and will be good for you if you only want a 2" lift (1" lift on 3rd gen).
