I personally would LOVE to run one. Unfortunately that cannot happen on the simple fact that I live in California and this is my daily driver.

Speaking of fuel pressure gauges, I’m going to put mine to good use right now.

I spoke with Gadget again. I’m going to put the UCON back in the truck, hook the 7th back up, and do a run to see if it maintains fuel pressure.

Definitely a good tool to have.

Fuel pressure is steady all the way through the WOT runs.

I even brought my head engineers with me this time. They concur.

    Alright, Some potentially good news.

    From Scott:

    “Hi Tim,

I think its just a fuel rail dynamic with the 2013…

Let me know what is convenient for you before you collect more data…

    Will only take 5min…

    S”

I watched him change a bunch of numbers. One of which, was changing the inj size from 640cc to 448.

That’s one way to add fuel I guess?

Another WOT sample in the AM. We shall see.

A little project I am working on for mounting my gauges.
Designed the gauge mount with cardboard then built it in tinkercad.com and then sent it to shapeways.com to 3D print it.

Thanks. Its my first time doing anything in any CAD program.
I wish I had gone a little slower when dremeling out the face plate as the cut is a bit rough and a bit to large. Originally I had planned to go slower and get it to where I could then hand sand it to just the right size.

I am not the best with doing stuff like this so im pretty happy with how its coming out.

Here is a picture of the back.

I like it. If the holes are a bit off, it’s nothing a bezel won’t fix.

That’s what I did with my auxiliary fuel tank gauge. The hole for the factory 4x4 selector switch was a little too big for the gauge

The injector pulse width or dead times are on their website. Those values have to be inserted into the injector table on whichever aftermarket ecu you are using. If using a UCON, make sure it can use them, before purchasing them.

Thanks again @Torspd. I'd like to increase the injector size and want to buy the best I can afford, hence why I ask.

So, Scott sent this, and only this, this afternoon. This is in response to last nights tune update, and this mornings WOT sample.

“We are good now – within a couple of percent…

    S”

I sent an email asking for clarification of exactly what the problem and solution were. I’m awaiting a response.

@loginfailed looked at the sample briefly as well. Dwayne told me, according to Scott’s formula, I’m at roughly 400 HP at the crank.

The prior run was 375-ish. Things certainly improved. I’m assuming the UCON no longer having to correct for the lean condition did this.

    The 32* F morning didn’t hurt either.

I contacted @mach1man001 (Rob works for a large chain of auto salvage yards and has helped me out more than once) about sourcing me a used 70mm TB too.

Might as well do it at this point I guess.
