Only thing I really regret is who powder coated them. They showed rust spots before they ever got used.

Any idea on your first project? I just watched a really cool video on a guy building a welding cart.

I'd probably start on something smaller, just to get the super basics of laying a bead. Could be as simple as welding together a cube out of square tubing or something.

I was just thinking earlier how I wish I had a garage so I could have a better work space, and have some bench mounted tools like a drill press, band saw, etc.

Lol I don't think David has ever touched a welder before. At least I think that's what he said before

Probably a cart. Ive been trying to collect random pieces of metal to practice on.

I still need/want to order a nice helmet and gloves. Ill get some generic pliers and brushes from Harbor Freight to start out on.

I've been very pleasantly surprised with my auto darkening helmet from HF. You're welcome to try it out if you want. Also my gloves are just some $15 Amazon ones that work super well that you can also try to see if you like them.

I do want to see your stuff. Maybe tomorrow if I come and get my brake fluid thing?

You should have! And yeah if you want! Or I can bring my gear over to your place and you can dick around with the welder. Then we don't have to weld indoors and we won't trip my breaker so much.
