OEmassive Quad Projector Retrofit

Hopefully get some more progress on these this weekend. Just need to confirm roll on projectors match and seal them up. Last, the custom rear boots to cover the igniters and she's ready to light up the night.

 

We all have ideas and images in our heads. However, he's able to figure out what's needef and transfer all those thoughts to a finished product with ease. If he can think it, he can probably build it.

 

Just out of curiosity...will you be out of nowhere selling these on tw?

Who knows...I don't have any particular order to my mods, nor a time table(I like it that way)I just work on whatever I feel like next.

I wish I had an 1/8 of your skillset lol, but after reading and following this i'm about to say f it and attempt to upgrade the drl and signal on mine like you did and upgrade the projectors. I won't be able to do any of the other stuff you did (unless you sell those parts separately in the future), but I want to make them better and since I still have my oem headlights to rock in the meantime, I now have a summer project.

 

I think 1 would be best since the DLR not tuning off with the turn signal is a good option.

 

Thanks! Yeah they DEF need an upgrade. Every light in them is sub-par

The whole point of switchback is to turn the DRL off completely. Giving the Amber signal a much more visible and isolated light. Half and half is just a confused light lol

 

When you say that, you're referring to blinking the white/yellow together? That would be confusing. However, a solid white with a blinking yellow section shouldn't be confusing. I was just under the impression that that we don't see that from manufacturers because it was a concession to NTSB to avoid obscuring the turn indicator in DRL applications.

Haven't had much time with these but they are all wired and tested. Just need to set aside some time to reseal in the oven and figure out what I'm going to do for rear caps.

I was suprised with the dual projector cutoff alignment. At 30ft they were both dead nuts even. Crappy picture in my warehouse, but you get the idea.

Quick run down on the seperate circuits. He wanted them all manually controlled. Or hit em' all at once for RAVE MODE.
