Decided on the name Scarlett, after the spoiled character in Gone With The Wind. My wife is from the south and suggested the name since the character was always trying to win the affection of a married dude. Since the taco takes a lot of my time and money, she's kind of like a mistress. So, yeah.

Wife bought a 2018 RAV4 two days after I bought my new Tacoma.....the dealership was muy bueno on the "package" deal.













I laughed the next morning when I walked out and saw them sitting there in the daylight....she asked what I was laughing at.

Told her that they looked like, "The Ghost and the Darkness". It kinda stuck. Darkness is what she's been ever since. Wife didn't adopt the other name for her's.....so I'm reserving that for a future muscle car that's gonna be added to my driveway at some future point....GT Mustang or Dodge Challenger.....wishing I had the funds for a GT350 or Hellcat. Got a kid in college at the moment. When he's done....I'll be ready to add the Ghost.


Names came from a movie that I rewatch every couple years....a damn good one, too.





Inspired by true events. British officer (Val Kilmer) tasked with getting a bridge constructed in Kenya. The locals stop working and revolt due to fears about two lions who they named "The Ghost and the Darkness".....the Maneaters of Tsavo.
