Depends on how lazy I feel. Sometimes I just burn them in. Sometimes I preheat and post weld cool them in the bbq grill.

Gets rid of the stock links that have loaded tension bushings. The chaos links allow smoother travel and will allow the axle to drop out more than stock.

They've been awesome. Only issue I've had is just an artifact of where I live and the winters here. Gotta keep the heims clean and the mud and snowmelt shit off them or they get real noisy. Unfortunately the heims are in a spot where they will always get shit splashed up on them so I don't expect them to last more than 4 years.

I'm not a fan of ballistic joints at all personally. They back out too easy, need to be rebuilt too frequently, generally a pain in the ass. I'd stick with FK heims.

285/75/17 on SCS 6's. ADS front & rear w/ adjusters. Relentless front bumper & roof rack. BAMF sliders
That new front end looks sweet. I just got a pair of the same wheels from Vin. I can't wait to get my Relentless bumper and those wheels on. My 4runner is the same color as your short bus.

With those wheels and that size tire, did you have to do a lot of trimming to make them fit?

Didn't take much. Just a cab mount chop and cut some plastics.

Do you know if 10+ rear brakes work with these 03+ rear caliper mounts etc? Ordered a rear disk kit from SOS with 10+ brakes and decided to go full float in the rear with a setup that makes use of 03+ rear brakes. Curious if I will just be able to use the 10+ calipers and rotors from my kit on the housing designed for 03+ brakes. Since they don't specify that 03+ compatibility would end at the end of the 4th gens, it would be great to not have to lose money reselling my 2010+ brakes I already have waiting to go.

    Like that winch mount!

Thanks for responding - looking it up it looks like it's a popular upgrade over on t4r, maybe not a huge difference in performance, but a lot of guys have done it. Sounds like it's worth giving it a shot - if they don't fit I could probably trade someone for their parts.
