    It seems every other Taco here has the PRO grill. I get it it, it usually looks better than stock. For all the customization, it just seems that's what people are dropping in. Is anyone running other style grills? Lets get those pics out.

    I think the Pro grills are fugly. I can understand getting ride of the chrome. But, big blocky lettters that scream "Overstatement" defeats the black out disappearing goal. Doesn't do it for me. I don't mind that Toyota emblem. I barely notice it. If it was black or dark grey on a matte grille that would be perfection. But plastic dipping is the 10's version of the 80's big hair to me. Or the black vinyl roofs on the 70's cars. That shit goes to hell in no time.

    I think I am the only one that thinks that way.

    Has anyone tried to color match their stock grills yet? Got a case of rattle can Barcelona and some satin black for the trim; just waiting for spring to show up.

    Mine is the laser cut aluminum grille that comes with the XSP package. I didn’t get the package but the dealer had already put this grille on as well as a black overlay over the Toyota emblem. While I like a lot of the other aftermarket grilles better, I have no plans to change as I really haven’t seen these around much at all, either on this forum or on the road. I’m planning to plastidip the chrome surround at some point to get it totally blacked out.

    I am currently assisting Custom Car Grilles with a prototype sensor mount for the 18’s. I sent them my sensor and he’s created a bracket mount with a black plexiglass front and mounted it to a grille that will arrive tomorrow and I will be testing it out and making sure it all works properly. If it all works out and there are no issues they are gonna start turning out some 2018 compatible grilles hopefully soon so hold out man. I’m not a fan of the TRD Pro grilles and I think they are all too often used. If you’re looking for a more custom look hope is around the corner! :thumbsup:
