Same problems as usual. Pinging in high gears under load at lower rpm. there is no doubt the later years were better prepared for it.

 

whats the point in having two? You can always size down with an adapter to a 3/8th. and to have twice the torque...really helpful when you have stubborn axle nuts. If its on a smaller bolt...just be a bit more gentle because obviously you can give it too much brunt and destroy the bolt. if you were going to buy two, id buy the high torque impact and a right angle impact. But for just a regular carry with you impact gun, better to have more torque and not use it than less torque and wish you had more

I want something like the top one but everyone is quoting me 2500 to 3k. Figure the bottom one is a good starting point the guy wants 250 for it

 

So with a manual transmission is pinging still an issue since you can just downshift to a lower gear raising the RPM?

 

The top one looks really nice and to me, nothing about it looks expense until you get to all the tubing. But I don’t know a lot about fabrication. Is it made out of aluminum?

 

for sure, its a good place to start and you could always use it like it is and have it modified down the road. $250 sounds like a fair deal to me

 

But for how marginally smaller it is does it fit that many more places? And if you’re in a cramped enough space, and can’t get an extension to your bolt, how often do you need an impact gun? Like any place I can’t fit the impact gun, a socket is plenty anyway.
Hence why I said right angle impact if you’re getting both

 

Have you tried any brake cleaner?

 

I thought it is too late to get the frame replacement. Didn't it end last summer?
