I never paid much attention to what bears did or how strong they really are. Last few years of hunting them Ive learned a lot. Its a good thing they are more scared of humans otherwise we'd be in trouble. They are agile and very strong animals. Plus far more out there than you realize.

So true once saw a mama grizzly running a male away once I swear was as fast as a horse if not a little more. Only hunted bear once didn't see nothing but scratch post an scat. Would jump on it again if I ever get the opportunity.

I flew 45 knots keeping pace alongside a running grizzly. Massive boar just smashing along the mountainside.

Maaaaan, I know I’m late to the convo, but when I see a bear or lion track I get the urge to follow em....

I’ve walked into more than one canyon at 2 in the morning following a track to see where it goes. Detective work is fun.

Went to Tanzania last year. Not to hunt. Wife wanted to do a photo safari. We were only about 50 yards away. But we were in a modified Land Cruiser. You really start to appreciate the strength of these beasts when you're up close and personal. Beauty is eating a Cape Buffalo.

A safari photo vacation is very high on our list of next trips. They are pricey but look totally worth it.

Turns out dekes was all I got. Could have smoked a couple Jakes, but no toms today. Here they are trying to get a rise out of my Jake decoy.

Haven’t been turkey hunting in 5 years. Probably because I never got one, and there is the issue of access to property. Should just get a bow and take a couple from the neighborhood. Then again, the authorities take a dim view of hunting within the city limits. Things are damn near pest status.
