Shoot me a message. I'd like to get a better idea of what you currently have to make sure my kit will work with your current setup.

Any pics of the front camera itself? I am about to place my order for the front/rear setup and the front camera itself!

    2 questions
is this kit specific to the Tacoma or will it also work on my 2016 RAV4
    And
Dose this kit still allow the camera to automatically display while In Reverse

Reverse will operate as normal, unless you decide to activate the front camera while in reverse.

As far as the RAV 4, shoot me a message and we can figure out if it works.

Thanks, one more question: any pics of it mounted to a taco? Any ideal mounting spots?

This is where things get tricky. So many different grill options are available, so most configurations and mounting points will be different. You also have to factor in what you want your view to be like and how you angle the camera. Do you want to see more of what's ahead of you or are you just going to use it for off-road so you're only concerned with what's near the front of the truck and angle the camera downward?

Responding like a true B2C guy who cares about his product! I have a stock grill, and this is going to be used for line-spotting off road, so definitely as low/close to the front bumper as possible.

The camera that I use for my kits would work. It's small, would give you a ton of mounting possibilities.

Just placed an order for front and rear. The hood of these trucks are huge to look over while going over obstacles. Spent a week in Moab having lots of fun. The passenger seat is worn out from constantly getting out to spot the trail. Hopefully this works. To anyone: can you share a photo or description of where you might recommend mounting the front camera on a stock front end. My concern is below plowing a little sand with the bumper and the damaging a camera mounted low to look ahead. Thank you!27C4BDB6-9373-4A7F-9653-EB8B27BDFB05.jpg

I just received your order. Thanks for your purchase.

With your grill, I would mount the camera inside of the Toyota Emblem. Once you get your kit, I recommend turning the front camera on and having someone in front moving the camera to get the view that you want.

Just a quick heads up to everyone. I'm going to try to film an install video this weekend. If anyone is in the Gilbert/East Valley area of AZ and would like a discounted kit and install, let me know.

Here's where I mounted my camera and the screen image. In this configuration I can see the bottom front edges of the license plate holder on the top outer corners of the screen. The red lines perfectly mark where the front of the license plate bracket it's.

    This camera:

I took it apart and potted the whole thing with silicone. So far so good with plenty or rain, puddles, and mountain passes. I had to cut the green wire to reverse the mirror function.

Yup, fins and things. First time there in a Toyota. I was completely satisfied on its performance there. Next day went into canyonlands via elephant hill and stayed a couple nights in the devils kitchen. Amazing place.
