It's a 4x2 Taco so my approach to mods will be slightly different, I had an XJ when I bought the Taco. Sadly, it's now in a junk yard. Surprisingly, with the snow we've had this year, not once have I said "I wish i had 4x4"

I've had a few friends harp on me for owning a 4x2 truck but the response "It hasn't failed me yet" given how many camping trips I've done in less than a year seems to end that conversation pretty quick.

Hey, go with what you want, don't let anybody tell you otherwise. I'd wanted a Taco for a decade, finally got one. Then proceeded to go buck wild on a new truck.

    It's crazy how far...

I'd wage a bet that once i close on a house, the mods pick up again. I've yet to answer my own question of "what's your end goal and the purpose here?" I suppose each mod will be an end result of a situation where I found out that I needed them vs just spending money or random crap lol

I'm in a similar boat. I really want to do some mods, but I may have to have an unexpected surgery and I'm sure it's not cheap.

Mods are cool, having your dream truck is awesome. What's not awesome is going bankrupt doing it. Take care of yourself, your truck will thank you for it later once you finally get back around to giving it attention.

Or just win the lottery! Yeah, I have decided that my mods will be sliders, tires/wheels, OVTune, and lift. But right now money is being allocated for more necessary requirements.

That's where I am. We are buying a house next year, but after that the wife says I can dump some tax refund money into the truck :bananadance:

We just went through that. Still have 4k to pay on her gall bladder surgery. Good luck man!

I want it but it would be a million years till I give the front end any attention if I did, then I'd look like I'm going for the reverse bro lift. :bananadead: I'm just going to hold off and buy kings all around.

Foxes are pretty close in price. Maybe I'll go that route instead. I trust your judgement given the extent of modification on yours!

I want the TC UCAs and LCAs too. A good mid travel setup for light to moderate off road. Maybe if I win the lottery I'll go build a super truck and do MOAB.

Yeah but this Sport suspension is super STIFF. Just speed bumps over anything but a slow crawl makes the truck flop like fish out of water.
