True. But damn, i seen reviews of the new JL Rubicon w/ 2.5 budget boost (coil spacers) can run 37’s because of diff factory fenders compared to regular JL. My bro put a shit ton to run 37 ‘s properly on his jk and we did moab for a week. I hope my tacoma can do half those trails this year when we meet up again for the yearly party at moab

Hey for you guys running 35’s. I’ve cut one fender to clear the tires. Now I’m rubbing full lock on the tub. Cmc clears thankfully.

My question what have you guys done to clear the tub. Add caster? Just bang the shit out of the tub inward?

I only really rub driver side stuffed and locked. I’m getting an alignment soon and hoping for more caster :fingerscrossed:

Cool thanks. I don't have fender liners anymore, I bang flat the pinch welds a while ago, cmc done, and no fender flares. I'll give an alignment/ add caster a try before maybe going to town on the tub

I drove to a spot nearby with a big dip in the road. Hit it straight on, then while taking a right and left. Did it several times. Went back home and beat the tub with a sledge where it rubbed. It worked out, but I definitely need more caster and it would probably rub with new tires. Need to hit it again when that happens.

The tires still rub the frame at full lock, but that can easily be corrected with a TC 2+ LT setup ;)

Now I can justify getting a synthetic rope.

Coming from Sac, are you closer to 50 or 80?
