    I was 8 in '86...

    But I remember the first punk I never listened to was a bootleg tape my buddy gave me around then of Give Me Convenience or Give Me Death. Played the shit out of that album.

    Fast forward to about 15 years later and I saw DK on the "not jello" reunion tour in Portland. Got my foot broken in the pit when a huge dude in combat boots crunched my vans wearing foot. Worth it, just to see Ray on guitar.

    The next day suuuucked!

    How was DK without Jello? I know the story but without Jello it isnt the same. I saw them a few times, the first being the "Frankenchrist" tour. Still one of my favorite bands.

    Honestly I have no comparison other than what I've heard on album.

    The show I saw was back in like 2002 and at the time Brandon Cruz from Dr. Know was doing the vocals, along with Ray on some of the tracks.

    I was pretty hammered at that show so as far as the quality of the sound, you'd have to ask someone else. I had a great fucking time though and actually was staying out of the pit for most of it but when they played Holiday in Cambodia for one of the encore songs, I couldn't resist. Which was probably not the best idea, all things considered!

    Wish I had picked up one of the decks that Pocket Pistols did.

    Hey @ODNAREM, I have a few buddies that live around you and are "elder statesmen" in skateboarding...

    Have any of you guys heard of Old Man Army?

    It is a small skate company from AZ that for a little while was getting some decent coverage and distribution... until the owners split ways 4 years ago. If you were 30+ and skating back then, you probably knew people that knee the same people as I do. Things have ratcheted down considerably with OMA but I still have a pretty good network from those days...

    I’ve considered this but never really cared for clear.Once it continues to wear out and get dirtier it doesn’t look so good.Same as colored grip tape.We’ll see!
