Need some advice with my setup, have a 2018 sport dcsb MT coming in a week or so along with bilstien 6112 and 5160 rears Wanting to go 1” in the front and 1/2 inch in the back with a spacer, wondering if anyone has this setup or should I set it up differently? I have read hundreds of post and most go 1.5” and up.
Wanting to keep lift small to avoid the chance of vibration.

Should work just fine. Most want more lift, hence shooting for 1.5-3"

    What coils are you using?

6112/5160 is a great setup, I have that on my truck. Be mindful that the 6112 changed for the 3rd gen so if your reading a bunch of posts about what notch to set your 6112s to be cautions, the older 6112 only had 5 notches of adjustment. Not sure how many notches the new model has, I think maybe 7? I'm sure someone will chime in and let you know.

Using the coils that come with the kit.

Believe there are 6 notches? Highest being 2” if I was looking at correct install instructions. Will be setting at #4/#3 I think?

Where were you able to find it in stock?! Been looking every where, and a lot of vendors have been out since last November.

I ordered the 6112 kit back in early Feb.. Says it will ship early April. I think that's when Bilstein expects to ship them out to vendors or directly to customers.

Ordered my 6112s from wheelersoffroad yesterday. They are on sale for cheaper than I’ve seen anywhere else and the assembly is on sale. I have yet to hear from them saying they are out of stock.

Ps, don’t do a spacer in the back. You get a really nice suspension set up for about $1k and then you add in a cheap block... get an add a leaf for the rear and do it the right way!!

I ordered it from THMotorsports back in early March, showed in stock, got an email saying out of stock about 2 days later. Decided to call a few more shops, (headstrong, race consulting agency, autoplicity), all said same as @MGMTaco17 , about end of April. :(

It's a nice shock. It's crazy how they're backordered. I wonder if it was for to the huge demand for the TRD Pro sets. I'm happy with my Pro set btw.

I know right! When I was getting quotes from installers and setting appointments, started the order process after, had to call them and cancel because its on such a big backorder. Even they were surprised too. Have you tried the 5100's? I have those, still contemplating if its worth the upgrade, or throw some OME springs on there instead of stock springs. A lot cheaper, but if its considerably different still, I'll go the 6112 route.

I have 2nd Gen 6112s coming for my 3rd gen. Asked a guy that ran both 3rd gen and 2nd gen. The ride is softer on the 2nd gen 6112s. And a guy I talked to that ran both 2nd gen and 3rd gen 6112s on his 3rd gen liked the valving and feel of the 2nd Gen ones anyhow.

I haven't tried 5100s and I was about to pull the trigger on them until the TRD sale came up.

A spring upgrade may be all you need if you're looking for a softer ride.

How do they feel going over dips? I've hit a few at 40mph and it's like they're not even there. Speed bumps are still stiff but not so bad.

6112 are definitely beefier than 5100s though.

Ordered mine off 4 Wheel Parts. Cant find them cheaper. Also if you're a first time customer you can input your email, create account and get 5% off your first order. So total after that is $581.37 with free shipping.

Oh so yours comes with a new strut mounting top plate? You're not using your stock one?
