    SOLD

The rack was custom made to support a roof top tent on-top as well as additional expedition weight. It is extremely sturdy and has been powdercoated/bedlined. Has a mount for a shovel and an axe on one side and it has two bolts used for mounting a high-lift jack on the other. (note, the two bolts were spaced in a way where my brand name High Lift jack would not fit right...it fit the previous owners high lift just fine). could probably be re purposed for recovery boards.
Questions welcome, I can send exact measurements if needed. Comes with all mounting hardware and fits all 2nd gen tacoma. Should fit 3rd gen no problem but I haven't tried that so I can't say for sure. The rack was purpose built to retain full visibility out the rear view mirror. the rack is solid. I would bet it would hold the truck up if it rolled...

selling because I bought a lower rack..does not come with ski clamps.

I'm in southern NH and would like to sell locally...don't mind driving to meet someone if its reasonable... plenty of folks have done that for me and ill return the favor.

    https://nh.craigslist.org/pts/d/custom-tacoma-bed-rack/6543861670.html

its listed on CL for 400...but I'd probably come close to 300 for someone on TW, depending on how far Im driving...
    make me an offer...

    as for pictures:

What's the length front to back? along the rails (and from post-to-post if you can)... I'm looking to fit a rack behind my toolbox, and everything's been too long.

I'm in NJ, but I could head up to MA/NH, I have family up there.

will re measure everything tomorrow and will upload pictures and measurements...I have the sneaking suspicion that it will be hard to fit it with the tool box but I suppose that depends on bed length. Ill update tomorrow.

I’d also like to know the length/height. Looks nice and solid but I’ve got a short bed and RTT to consider. I’m in NY but could be worth a drive if it fits. Thanks!

Alright here are some specs on the rack for those that were interested!

The base of the rack that attaches to the rail on the bed of the truck is 53in long. as you can see it runs the entire length of the rack which is one of the reasons the thing is so freaking solid on the truck... IMG_4199.jpg

The width between the two sides at the base (sections that attach the the bed) is 60in
    IMG_4200.jpg

The top section (what the tent mounts to) is 48in long
disregard the yamika clamps on there...havent had the chance to remove them.

    IMG_4201.jpg

lastly the space between the cross bars is 44-45in depending on how you measure...(outside to outside or inside to inside).

    IMG_4203.jpg

heres a picture of the whole thing off the truck. Let me know if there are more questions!

as you can tell by looking at the floor I did some touch up work, grinding and re painting this winter. There wasn't rust as much as just poorly painted areas.

also forgot to mention that one of the best parts about the rack is the accessibly...I have a voodoo rack now and while it like the lower profile im not liking how little space i have when it comes to crawling around the bed of the truck even without a tent on it....this rack was awesome in that one could just stand up in the bed if there wast a tent on it because the supporting bars run along the side and not across the top like a lot of other setups. Also a ton of room for activities (like grabbing a cooler that slid towards the cab) with the tent on there as it sits up fairly high!

without trying to turn this into a rack review I just want to note that the voodoo that I have now (even though securely mounted) wiggles a little when I hit bumps in the road...like I can see it shimmy a bit in the rear view mirror. that was never the case with this.

Damn, just a few inches too long for me. :(

Actually, that's why I wanted the measurements. I was already expecting I'd have to cut off the excess flange along the rails, but even if I do that, the front riser to back riser is 4" too long to fit in my configuration. Otherwise I'd have jumped on it, even at a 4 hour drive, it's a steal.

    Good luck selling it!
