Noice!! The access cab with a 6spd v6 is my favorite combo in these trucks. I bet that thing is a blast to drive:D

What kind of clutch are you running in your truck? Ive heard the stock one doesnt play nice once you add boost

The clutch that is currently in the truck was in it when I got it, I have poked around under there a couple times to try to identify it but I have no idea if it stock or aftermarket... I do know that as hard as I romp on it now and then it always grabs nice and firm every time.

    1) right
    2) right, but not just regional. Lots of other reasons I’m sure too but definitely few access cabs made compared to double cabs.
National inventories reflect this as well. When I was trying to find my unicorn I had to settle for a Pegasus lol. I was looking for a really low mileage stock second gen acess cab spruce mica TRD off road...settling for a pyrite mica because the two spruce micas NATIONWIDE which met my criteria and came available during my two month search sold the same day they were listed. I drove to New Hampshire from FL to get mine.

Honestly I'm not certain yet as it's due to arrive this Sunday. I'm a total noob to owning a truck this is my very first.

I love my my 6spd V6 access cab. I had to settle for the SR5 4x4 non trd off road. (Wishing I had that rear locker though) ☹️

I did find out recently that my truck has the towing package so there’s that :)

Great looking truck! The sr5 is the no BS model, doesnt get much better than that. Why pay for things that youre going to change, or that you can add yourself:D

I lucked out... found this one sitting in used inventory at a local Chevy dealer. Some idiot traded it in for a new Colorado . I don't think the dealership knew what they had in stock. It sat on their lot for about a week before I caved in to the love affair and pulled the trigger on my first Tacoma.

That’s a beautiful truck man.

Great job! Traded for a Colorado! :rofl:Their loss, your gain there for sure. I like the ZR2 but I’m so happy with my taco that I’d put a new Cummins in it first before taking on a ZR2 build. I’m a die hard GM/Chevy guy too. My wife’s driving a 17 Yukon Denali 4/4 with the big engine and if we’re both going somewhere and it’s just us ...we usually take my truck. I’m a little “green” with envy over your truck but I really love mine and probably....wouldn’t trade for anything.
