The perfectionist in me can't use this thing without restoring it... it needs a new power cord, a gun receptacle, ground clamp, and new paint. All the body panels are getting thrown into my sandblaster and re-done in that beautiful Miller blue with new decals

Got it for cheap enough though so it shouldn't be too bad to get some parts for it.

It works though. Barely.

 

Damn that's dirt cheap... @Speedytech7 needs to get on this and if he makes it work he could make kots. Maybe even one for the v6 too

 

Another TW member is very kindly offering to pull one from a yard for me. But I did see that and have it watched haha.

Yup that's part of it's appeal, they just hook to normal piping instead of bolting to a manifold.

 

I wonder if anyone here has made an intercooled sc for a first gen with a centrifugal SC since URD is never going to realease their kit. @Gadget@URD

Yes, there was a member that modfied a TRD SC to take piping for an intercooler.

 

I wonder how that worked... Crazy. I still wanna see one of them fancy rotrex SCs on a first gen

 

Yeah they're cool, centrifugal Superchargers are so close to turbo status I'd rather hear intense spool haha. My dad has a centrifugal supercharger on his Harley and the noise it makes is a weird cross between SC and turbo.

So when are you gonna attempt this minivan supercharger thing? Atleast that’s what I understood you were trying, could be wrong.

 

I'll start mocking things up for it and planning brackets as soon as I can get my hands on one. I've got lots of other projects half finished in my garage so I'm in no rush to overspend on the unit itself. But if all goes well I could have one on it's way Friday or Saturday.
