Just use some steel wool and dawn to scrub it a couple times, then wipe it off with mineral spirits a couple times. Hang it and use grill (the kind you cook steaks on, not smash into bugs with) paint, the high heat like you said. It will scratch off if you hit it with rocks but otherwise will last forever.

This is what I was going to do. My cousin offered up. Who was I to say no? I almost asked him to do my skid plate too....

Found this stuff too. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B003CT4AKC Haven't bought any yet..but it says automotive high heat up to 2000 degrees.. Figured that should work fine on an exhaust tip. I was most likely just going to end up going this route, Unless you think the grill stuff might be better?

Also, I think you're not too far away from me, @CoastieRon funnily enough. I didn't notice your side profile thingy saying Nashua from my phone. The DW/pheasant lane mall is like 15-20 mins from me.

Hell yea. I don't blame you! I did my exhaust on my Tundra like I described. After the muffler the heat is not that extreme and the tip not much at all. Hell, you can even use caliper paint but high heat grill paint is cheaper. Unless you want a glossy finish. Then go with engine or caliper.

Ha! I live behind the Audi dealer. I actually ran for State Rep in my ward. I lost, but it was a pretty cool experience (36 vote margin lol)

Yup buy that now! And go to the dollar store and get some steel wool or scrubbie pads, and dish detergent. Dawn works great. Oh, mineral spirits and rags.

So they’ll just velcro to the headliner? I might have to start my own patch collection...

I just bought a can. Will post up once it's done. While I was there, bought a cabin air filter and engine air filter.

Nice to finally see someone that knows that ditch lights are to face the sides (reason called "ditch lights"). Not to the front of the truck

LOL, I've thought the same thing...especially for those that have lightbars too.

I just didn't want to admit how little I've off-roaded my TRD Off-Road so far. :p

"What have you done to your 3rd Gen Tacoma today?" Well, I traded it folks. I got a '17 F150 XLT Super Crew 4x4 with the 2.7 Ecoboost. I loved the Tacoma, I mean really loved it. I just could NOT get past the lack of interior room...especially in the rear seat area. I am a real estate appraiser and have a severely autistic 26 year old son that goes everywhere with me. He rides in the back seat and is 6' tall. I had to put the front passenger seat all the way up to make room for him. So that made the front seat basically worthless. Anyway, I really enjoyed the truck outside of that. The Tacoma is a great truck, just wasn't great for my needs. Y'all take care and enjoy your trucks. By the way, I have an ARE topper for a long bed '16-'18 Tacoma for sale. The topper has been professionally done in Scorpion Coating. It will go with any color Tacoma. The tube steps are also available, They were factory and were over $500 on the window sticker. If interested in the topper or the steps, PM me. I live an hour east of St Louis, close to I-57, between I-70 and I-64. Below is a pic of my Tacoma with the shell on it, and my new truck.

Not really a fan of the 6000k. Gonna look for some 5000k T10s, T15s, and 29x5mm festoons (for the vanity). So far I have had no luck, if anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it!
