Lighter weight coils. Progressive leaf pack. Lower tire pressure. If all else fails, kings or foxs.

Like the said i think the coilovers have so much pressure because they are lifted to 2.5”. I was just curious if there was any other things

Having more or less pre-load on your coil overs is probably gonna have the most immediate impact on your ride quality. The closer you have your coil overs adjusted to factory height, the more compliant your ride is probably gonna be, more pre-load, more stiff. And like the guy above said, softer tires with a less aggressive load rating.

    Floaty/squishy?
    Or
    Jarring and bucking?

I could see both as bouncy

1 as overly harsh, 1 as overly soft

The softest riding Tacoma I driven was a double cable SR5 with stock suspension. The ride was so squishy that it felt like riding on a marshmallow and it was rolling all over the place on corners.

The stock TRD Off Road suspension was stiff.

The Icon's ride somewhere in the middle and it seems perfect.

My 885 coils ride much softer than my stock coils did with 5100s set at 1.75" setting - exact same amount of lift.

OP, what coils do you have? The Eibach coils are known to ride stiff. I don't recall their spring rate.

Also, your AAL in the rear could be causing a rough ride too. A full leaf pack will ride better, assuming you get one appropriate for your uses.

Of course, shock tuning is a huge factor. Progressive/ digressive valving will make a big difference, depending on your driving style.

OME 885 should be 590 lb/in and the eibach 1.6" springs should be 620 lb/in

886s are 660 lb/in according to headstrong's website. 883-885 are 590 lb/in with increasing lengths, and thus increasing preload on the same strut

I have my 885s on 5100s at the 0 setting. I added some top plate spacers for a little extra height.
