My phone doesn’t ring, it’s been on silent since we left the store.

 

Sometimes up to 5 hrs, sometimes 3hrs, just depends how well I can maintain the temp I want. It's a smoker I made in fab class, so it's not perfect.

So, this is the finished utility box. The center piece lifts out. It's just there as a support for the lid. Had a lid fabricated out of 3/16" aluminium diamond plate. We have to wait 2 weeks to take it in to Line X to have it sprayed. Having it sprayed sand colored.

Evening Everyone !!

Just getting back home from the Car show and had a lot of fun !!! . All the cars from last year were back and most had some changes done to them . Had fun bench racing with friends also when I pulled in and when I left I attracted a crowd of people enjoying the sbc music from the exh , does sound nice at a 1500rpm idle

Found out that there's a car show this Saturday at the Hesperia Elks Lodge and will be attending that one for sure

 

Smoking protein is an art, not a science IMO. To have built your own smoker takes the art to a whole nother layer. Kind of hard to beat that!

For me it depends if SLC or baby backs. Can't probe them with the meat thermometer and I use the bend test. Pick them up with the tongs on one end and see how much they bend. I have my preferences and can usually tell from the cracking in the bark and how much they bend. Which likely explains why I don't foil.

I purchased one of those boat motors not long ago. Got it for split pea soup. Still haven't used it. Well now I have a reason to thank you very much!

Yeah working from home. Guess I started at 5:10 AM because at 5:10 PM the VPN kicked me out. So I logged back in and just finished about 2200 had enough. Trying to explain to my oldest son that salary isn't all it is cracked up to be, but he is still looking. Ugh. Tomorrow is Friday.

Just went out and shoveled the deck so I can grill something this weekend or tomorrow night took a bunch of meat out of the freezer. As soon as I finished it started to snow. Again.
