Yep. Her, my granddaughter, bro-in-law and mom-in-law went down to look at my bro-in-laws 3.5 acres that he offered to split with us in Palm Bay. I worked and it gave me a chance to catch up on some work around the house. That is my spring break. I am retiring in a few months and will be making a few trips there this summer so I am conserving my remaining vacation time. They were trying to get specifics on property easements from the city and other boring stuff like new tree placements  I will say it was nice being able to crank up the home theater for a change. My youngest just got back from her Daytona spring break too. I had a very pleasant week. My checking account got the worst of it though
    :spending:

I need to install my new roof rack Saturday if the snow isn't too bad but as soon as it gets dark I'm heading to the Walmart. Might have to be Sunday depending on the weather.

Lol I mean I try to shop on a budget and not get the most expensive things. With that said. I do buy a lot of inexpensive items.

    I think I have a problem Rob...

Hi I’m Brett and I’m a TacomaHolic lmao

I showed my fiance what you said though and she started cracking up.:rofl:

Even the GTRs dont have a good box/tower when compared to the stock (IMO), however; they are a lot brighter everywhere else.

I am with you, I believe either lifting the truck or a small adjustment would do the trick.

Now I need to figure out whether I want a whole new set of fogs or just get an LED bulb replacement as well. Im thinking bajas or cali raised, cant yet decide.

[And the circle responded] Hi Brett, welcome to TacomaHolics Anonymous

And then a wise man among them stood and spoke to Brett, and said.....
All you need is a good sponsor Brett. Someone you can call when you fell like you need to buy another light, that will tell you how you are strong, and that you can withstand the temptation, tell you to put that credit card away, close that lighting mod thread or website, someone that can help you admit that you are powerless over the desire to do lighting mods and then gain the strength to manage that weakness....

Huh, you thought it was me? Hell no, sorry, I was just getting up to get another cup of coffee because I got more surfing to do when I leave this stupid meeting. Plus that other guy talking was boring the shit outta me.

    :D

Exactly, why they're not worth the 200 to me. I'm sticking with my Hikari's. Those Baja's are the shit! But take two credit cards with you. And, I am not sure they can be used on the road without lowering them as far as they go. Then they'll probably not be sufficient off road. Of course you could just follow Brett's lead and eventually you'll have light bars laying on the roof pointing upwards to track aliens.

Exactly. GTRs not worth the squeeze to me. At that price point, I rather go HID. Still considering.

I dont feel the lightbar look.

Lmao woah woah hold up now

My build is clean, and just as a disclaimer I will not be adding anymore lighting after I do the flush mount bumper lights. Only lighting on the front is ditch lights and recessed bumper light

When I get a chance I wanna go out on a good clear night to an open field and do a drone fly around of the truck with all of them on though

The Lightbar is completely recessed into the bumper and isn’t even noticeable at all to 90% of people. Thats what I love about it. I like a smooth clean look and even sometimes I hate how the ditch lights sit up as high as they do. Wish they were even more low profile.

To me, lightbars belong on either trophy trucks, heavily modded shop trucks, or real hard working country trucks. Otherwise, they are overkill. Seems like every other brodozer has a big light bar.

Oddly enough, I feel the opposite about ditch lights. I feel that ditch lights can suit / look good on vehicles that do a little off roading or back road driving.

    Just my 2 cent.

I think if the light bar is mounted to the outside of the bumper or the roof then I agree with what you're saying which is why i loved i could tuck mine away. My light bar is kick ass when I hit the beach or the deer lease though.

 Just messin! One of the better builds I've seen fo sho! Quality is evident and so is the attention to detail!

Hey that would be cool, just remember flying a drone at night is illegal :anonymous: so don't get caught. I'd be cautious posting them up too. What kind of drone do you have? I have a couple. Two 25 mm indoor pocket drones, a 251 mm racer, and Mavic Pro (v1). I barely fly any of them though because I am always too freaking busy and when I am not the weather is shitty. Supposed to be studying for my Part 107 license for work. Ha! They keep dumping so much work on me I am multi-taking 5 projects at once which leaves no time to study, especially getting home at 9 pm like I do.

    Sux.

Thanks, man! I've been having fun with this Tacoma.

I have a DJI Phantom 4 Pro. Is it really illegal to fly them at night? I have flown mine a few times at night. Is that a state law or a government thing?
