Just want to make sure the date has been decided, my wife is being asked to submit vacation time request for the summer.

August 6th ~ August 10th is the week?

More camping action showed up today :cookiemonster:

That neat ass temp monitor showed up as well, better than I thought it would be. I thought it would only keep track of temps while the bluetooth is connected and the app is open or something. No, it keeps all the data on the sensor, and your bluetooth device just queries it for new data on the fly. So it always has ALL the data available.

I’m not gonna make this trip so my opinion means nothing on this topic but I say do it. In my experiences planning trips it’s way less stressful picking dates and sticking to it. It’s almost impossible to find a date ever that works for everyone. I know it sucks, I’ve missed many trips, but the fun of this hobby is there will always be a “next trip”

    Im cool with whatever.

So Saturday August 4th we all meet at the designated location (I think we will send a pm out with all the info).

With leaving on the Saturday it gives us wiggle room for "in case" situations. Essentially, giving us 3 extra days on top of the 5. Ill add it to the OP

Official start date Saturday August 4th

Most of us are meeting in TO and then heading up there, how many people are coming with us from Ottawa/Quebec?

    :notsure:

Me and @Bocsy44 passed on this one... for others I don't know...

Is it a possible thing to give an estimate time that you guys will be on Quebec Border on August 4th?

We are still looking at the times, but I would estimate we will be passing those areas around 1-2pm, depending on traffic and how many times all those heavy guys will need to refuel with their 14-20L/100km

I'll continue to keep an eye on that thread for the estimated time. I would really like to convoy with you guys for the day! Maybe camp for the first day, depends on how late you want to roll, but for me, anywhere we reach the first day will still allows me to go back home the next day

Put me down. I'm not 100% sure I'll be able to make it but am actively trying to prep.

This looks fun. Wife and I have been on the road for 8 months, we'll be just outside of Montreal working on our fixer upper by then. If we can sneak the time in, we'd be stoked to rally with y'all!! Think we'll have enough fuel with one extra 5gal/18.9L Jerry can? Other than that, sure our rig can make it!
