I just bought a first gen Tundra housing and at least one other guy on here runs one (@Anthony250) with bypasses tubes in the first layout - he says it works for him, but it's long travel, not a crawler - I think you're going to be pretty good.

Are those the shock towers you're using or are you going to build a bed cage?

No those were from my mid travel kit and I just haven't cut them off yet. I bought the dmz bedcage that I'll be mounting in. I thought about building my own but It took me almost a year to finally finish my front bumper just because I get sick of working on projects that I haft to think to much on.

Also does anyone have the pinion angle of the rear axle at ride height? I had it wrote down and now I lost the dam piece of paper.

Did it fall out of your pocket while you were on the dam tour?

Want to say I shot for around 2* Obviously things change a little when springs settle, but that's that I did and have no driveline vibes at all. When I did it, I set the bed back on, set the bed cage in, spare tire at the back of the bed and through probably another 50lbs or so back there to get it to a more accurate ride ht before measuring and welding everything in

Did you hit up any of the trails going to hoover dam? My dad and I had a nissan pathfinder that we rented when we went to sema a couple years ago and had a blast beating on it on the trails there.

The one time I went there was back with my folks but we stayed on tar pretty much the whole time heading up to Zion National Park and that area. Once I'm finished my truck I plan on driving back east to my folks' and I'll try to do mostly dirt through that area! Nothing like a rental suv for some good product testing :) My dad and I bombed some good fire roads in a cavalier back in 2000 when we can out here lol

This is what I was referring to, trying to make a dam joke :anonymous: :bananadead:

smashed this, broke that, covered it up with tape and paint
No I am basing it off my truck already having spacers on it just to clear bypasses on a cage setup with SUA and talking to various people who know way more than me and have done more 4 link set ups than I ever will

And unless I go to a +6 kit in the front
70" is as wide as I can go in the rear without having it be wider than the front

A 68" housing does not mean 68" WMS. That is two different measurements, the WMS is the wheel mount surface, that would be the axle/disc brake surface NOT the housing

    ...too much shit to list.
Mine is setup for 68" WMS-WMS

FYI, stock width on a second gen is a short hair over 65" WMS-WMS. I had this same conversation with Currie when they said they set their "stock" widths at 66"
