To update everyone I have re-installed the trd injectors and am running the trd flash again. The ucon caused me to be stranded more then once. I call gadget and see what he says. I feel I will probably have him inspect/fix it. Probably going to be a nightmare.

I understand dude. I can't say one way or the other if I think it's the right call as I have no experience with anything but stock and sc with UCON but obviously you aren't the only one to have issues.

 

I did talk to gadget and he basically said no problem send it back and ill have a look. So not mad at customer service.

I feel it may be hard to sell the ucon without cam gears.

I was having horrible misfire and it was unsolvable. With the trd reflash I have had zero codes and drove 75 miles on it today. Its great

 

If anyone actually wants a UCON, I have one for sale. It is for a 2005-2008 tacoma (I have a 2015, so it won't work for me). Comes with cam gears and thermostat. I would also gladly trade it for one that works on a 2015.

 

Once gadget sends me a new one or whatever happens, You could just buy mine. Then sell your early model one

 

Yeah, if you want to make me a deal on it, I hear they are hard to sell without the cam gears.

 

The cam gears can be bought separately, can’t they?

Should’nt be that big of a deal to sell it without them. Priced accordingly of course.

 

I think the problem is to just buy the cam gears it is almost as much as the whole ucon package, something ridiculous like that.

 

Traded the gf vehicles today so I can get her 4Runner tinted. She's a little speed demon lol
