There’s a 34R adapter you can get unless you do something like this. This battery is 3/4 in shorter than stock.

The Odysssey stainless cage won’t work unless you weld it in, I’m returning that.

I am going to use an Artec battery cage - they go in with 4 bolts. I am going to run the same setup for a second battery in the bed.

But this isn't the right thread... ;)

Quarter sawn red oak. It has a lot of fleck to it.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Show us the end grain. If the rings run vertically (perpendicular) to the thickness, it's quarter sawn. Yours looks like it is quarter sawn.

    It's all about perspective.

Everyone has stories, and one memorable thing happened in the early 90's- I was working a Park Ave. apartment renovation for a well known rich man, and the foyer of this apartment was completely done in a beautiful dark green marble- colums, wainscoting, crown molding, all marble. We went in and dismantled the entire room, breaking the marble as carefully as possible, and shipped it to a shop where it was completely replicated in soild mahogany. It was installed so that it matched what was there before.

Shortly therafther, painters arrived and painted the mahogany with a faux finish - light tan marble.

Food on the table for me and many others giving that guy what he wanted.

If you chop your own wood to keep warm in the winter, you probably could care less about nice wide boards of rift cut oak, lol

I'm thinking about finally biting the bullet and ordering a saw stop. Does anyone on here have one?

i don't. The pricetag is always what has turned me away from a saw stop. I'd rather buy a powermatic.

For me, it's about the safety. I've had a few close calls, but luckily nothing major. A trip to the ER and a lost finger is worth the 2.5k to me. But I get it.

I just want a bigger table saw. The DW7491RS is ok for a lot of things and I like the portability of it for dust control purposes but it's the size that it is lacking.
