    What do you miss about the Canon system? Did about 15mi of hiking last weekend with my Nikon system and its got me really considering something lighter.

    mirrorless systems are typically better for video, and have less weight.

    Weight and overall physical size of the package. If using mirrorless spacific glass, the weight difference in lenses can be significant. Most of the big tech advancements in digital cameras is happening in the mirrorless space right now. Look up what Sony is doing with their “A” series full frame cameras.

    I use an Olympus OMd which is a mirrorless with a sensor half the size of a 35mm full frame equivalent. It does amazing work and is less than half the weight of a full frame DSLR.
