I just bought a boat, like literally today! I will ask some folks I know. If you send me pics I can put it up on TinBoats.net, I've been on there for a long time.

Another one (ugggg) I may have a problem. Big fucker this time. '03, 21' Sylvan ProFish, 150hp Merc V-6 Saltwater, 6hp Merc 4-stroke kicker, 100" beam, dual 9' locking rod lockers... this thing should troll bigwater real nice. Only have a few shitty pics to get the bimini up and pictures to my canvas guy. I'm having side and rear curtains made.

Well that's a good-sized hole in the water, and no mistake. Bet she'll haul ass on a flat day, though.

I'm just going to assume that's all cool stuff, sort of like someone coming on TW and describing a solid axle conversion or long travel kit. I have no idea what most of that means for a boat :anonymous:

Previous owner said 3 guys + gear it'll push 50mph in flat water.

Hahaha most of it can be translated to mean "spent too much money" lol

Translated, it's an '03 that's 21 feet long. It's got a fancy fish finder, a decent-sized outboard that's corrosion resistant for ocean operation, a small trolling (where you putz around and fish) motor, a stable 100 inch beam (width) and some rod holders so you can fish and drink at the same time.

Gotta love a good hull design.

Yep, big V-6 outboard motor worth as much as a Kia and 95% of the time this boat will be moving at a scorching 1.8 - 2.2 mph.

Thanks, we'll see how negotiations go... last time I found a good deal on a truck, they wouldn't give me anything for my trade and I had to walk away from it. I did the 'value my trade in' thing on their website and it was pretty reasonable so we should be close before even starting the dance.

Not sure when I'll go see it. I have to go to a wake tomorrow so, if I can get out of work tonight to go see it I will. Otherwise it might be Sunday AM.

My old boss's bass boat is like that; he's got a 220hp Mercury on the back and it'll do 60mph without even working hard, but even though he spends sunup to sundown fishing every weekend he probably only burns 2 tanks a summer with it. He spends all of his time purring along with the electric trolling motor.

    Today was a good day.

Helped my friend with the Warn semi-hidden winch mount on his wife’s 4Runner which came out quite well. It’s 95% done. It’s a bit trickier than the 3G Tacoma piece but looks real nice.

I also swapped my wheels around and have my OEM wheels on my snow tires. I put up my 2G alloys and 3G OEM tires for sale for a laughably high price online seeing what type of bites I get.

When I was at the tire shop I saw the General Grabber ATX. They are touting it as a decent snow tire. Maybe I’ll go that route for my next snow set.

    Edit. Called it a Tacoma...oof.

My mechanic gives me the eye roll everytime I insist on Michelin tires, he swears by the General Grabbers and his personal vehicles get nothing else.

I think I will be buying the Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude HT's again that came on my truck, they performed great all winter. As long as they hold up for decent mileage, I'll have no problem buying them again.

If this work day gets any worse, I swear on everything I care about that I am just packing my shit up and straight up walking out.

Tired of getting shit from people for things that I have no control over, and definitely fucking tired of people questioning what I am giving/telling them, go running and crying to my boss, who in turns asks me, and I explain and give the same info, just to be relayed again. Makes a person feel real shitty when others do this sort of shit... comes across as they don't believe/trust you, and question whether you know how to do your job or not.

    FUCKING HAD IT.
