These are the light output of the OEDRO 360 degree H11 LEDs I bought from ebay. They were advertised as 6000K but in person they are at around 4300K so it is warm white (not bluish). So far, I am satisfied with the light output.

I haven’t taken any pictures of the installation I did (and may have voided the warranty by cutting the dust cap that came with it )at the back and using a generic dust cap I bought from ebay so that the LED fan and driver are installed outside the housing. I will try to post some soon.

I have them with HIDs, and am extremely happy with their light output. I have tried taking pictures of few times, but pictures do absolutely no justice to picks of lights.

I see some og you are using HID's & some of you are using LED's. Don't these 2 different types need 2 different reflectors to function properly & not blind people?

So you can use halogens, LED's or HID's in projectors? Thanks.

My only Expierence with these lights is HID's and I can say there is not light scatter in all directions like a traditional light housing. I used to have HID's in my motorcycle, and I can say that it may not have been the best for oncoming traffic.....

I originally ordered mine from protuninglab with the hids, I mistakenly ordered the 6k color and it sucked... I just upgraded to a decent set of hids from trs in the 5500k. I was able to get them installed last night and holy hell... it’s literally night and day difference! It’s incredible the difference between generic hids and a decent set. I still need to adjust them properly but it’s already a world of difference... if anyone’s unhappy with the light output of theirs with halogens or hids, I recommend spending a little bit more for decent hids. They’re amazing. I’ll post pics when I aim them properly

I actually got the 6000k... I should have bought the 4300k, people are saying they’re more white. The 6000k have a blue tint to them. Here’s the link https://www.protuninglab.com/hid-pro-jh-tta12-lbdrl-bk.html
And no, you don’t need anything else. Just make sure you order the right ones for your year truck.

Understood, I'm buying from eBay or Amazon and won't have the option to choose and will probably be buying the 4300k separately. I was looking for the link to the replacement ones u bought

Oh ok... sorry, misunderstood you... I actually pieced together the bulbs and ballasts from the retro fit source, and I got 5500k. They said it’s pure white and it’s the color that produces the most lumens of the bulbs they offer. These are the bulbs I got... https://www.theretrofitsource.com/h...1-profile-powerhouse-hid.html?preselect=52641
    and these are the ballasts...
    https://www.theretrofitsource.com/hid-parts/hid-ballasts-aftermarket/amp-acme-speedystart-35w.html
I think the total came to $95 if I remember correctly and with shipping it was at 109, but they offer free shipping for orders 100 and over, I found some jb weld they sell on their site for $5, brought my total to 100 and got free shipping and some jb weld lol. Never know when you’re gonna need it... but that’s all you need. Nothing else. If you’re buying the lights that don’t originally come with hids, the only thing you’ll have to do is cut a small hole in the dust boot that the hid wires will go through and then it gets sealed up with a rubber seal that comes on all hid wires... you’ll see and it’ll make sense. Also make sure the housings you order take h11 bulbs... some people report their housings take h9 bulbs. If they take h9 bulbs, then obviously get the h9s. And install the bulbs in the housings before installing the housings in your truck. I had to un bolt my windshield washer fluid tank and my battery to get enough room to twist the bulbs in and lock them in place.

Just installed these yesterday. They look great but weirdly I have no functionality on drl. Park lights give me the led u bar and amber drls. Any thoughts on why I don't have the inside ambers on drl position?

Installed HID’s Friday night. I used the stock rubber boot from my old headlights to run the wires so I didn’t have to cut anything. 55 watt 5500k kit. Looks great and they’re super bright! The temp color matches my Morimoto XB LED fogs perfectly!

That’s odd because the wiring didn’t change from OEM to these..
