    I probably should have done that but I'm already pushing this shop to their limits. That will be a winter project when I'm in NOLA.

    You could always get the dmz Lazer cut bed box kit. It is designed to retain the factory tire cross member and the pieces are cut to fit in and around it.

    Sucks its not done for this weekend. Guess you need to make a shake down run to Bridgeport if you want to test it before Jambo. Should be fun to see how does at Jambo!

    BAMF relocate is in, behind schedule but its beef and smooth as butter, can't wait to flex this beast out


    Prepped for install next to a @ztaragon non-flexy truck


    Driver's side in and being flexed out, tower set at 9* for max flex of 22.1" off the ground with the other 3 solidly planted

    Passenger side installed.


    The resi hoses were touching the bump stop mount when the resis were positioned to stay out of the tires way at max stuff so we ground down the metal to clearance it.

    It's a little bit tall now and a couple fat guys can sit on the bed without much movement but you barely feel speed bumps and curbs which was all we has to test it on near the shop.

    I changed the shackles out at the same time, that's the likely culprit. But the bottom of the shock was moved up about 3" and the new shocks are a bit stiffer than the ones they are replacing so that might be part of it as well.

    Makes sense, they have "topless" jeep weekend at the beach here coming up soon. Plenty of big girls around to ride in the bed and soften them up for you.
