Not really. But man I miss the warm weather...

 

This makes me think of something one of my former VPs told me. I was worked up about something and he came in my office and looked at me and said 'You need to learn to care a little less. Still care enough to get your job done and done well. But try and care a little less about things.'. I remembered I was shocked when he told me that because it was my VP telling me to care less about my work. He since passed away and every now and then when something really gets to me at work, I think about that conversation with him and it typically helps.

If that doesn't help you, its after 3PM on a Friday so it's almost quitting time

 

Fortunately it sounds like you have a good boss

 

BicMac, I saw some supposedly Cajun restaurant in Lowell. I forget what its called, but it was like downtown, maybe its worth a visit. On another note, we should arrange another Boston meetup, good times too be had.

 

Something is in the works... but might be a while before anything comes of it, IF anything comes of it.

I get it, but it's kinda hard to do to be honest. I like to think I try my best and do a halfway decent job, but shit like this really makes me wonder if I'm "wanted" around here. It really does.

Not sure yet to be honest. She's "new"... only been around since mid early February or so, and haven't really had much interaction with her on shitty stuff up until recently, when a few orders from factories we buy from went down the tubes.

 

So far sounds like she's backed you, at least I think so

 

It could be... I make it a point not to listen to people's phone conversations, so I don't know if she did or didn't. But I also don't know what she is/was being told by the other side as far as what I do, don't do, did, haven't done, etc.
