Hello Everyone! I'm new to the forum and to my '15 MGM Tacoma double cab short bed. It came with what I believe to be a Leer 180 mid rise cap in MGM. I've been lurking and looking at where I want to take this thing and a cap is not in my future. Thing is, I have no idea what is a fair price. It seems to be in great shape, with two little dings along the bottom edge (pictured). I'm looking to go for a bed rack and RTT setup. I'm looking to sell the cap or am open to trade for a bed rack set-up. Any advice would be appreciated as to a fair price for it. Anyone interested, let me know. I'm in Poughkeepsie, NY, but am willing to travel a ways (I suppose how far depends on the deal). Thanks everyone!!

 

Welcome to TW! You will have to place the cap for sale on Craigslist or FB, etc once you figure out what want for it. You will be able to post items for sale here on TW once you have been a member for 30 days and 50 posts. Go to the for sale section and read the site requirements for posting things for sale. Too many people in the past have just shown up to run a scam to make a quick buck before necessitating the minimum time and posts requirement.

 

If I were to set a price on that cap (your build is very similar to my Leer 122 and I know what I paid new), I'd start ~$800 and go as low as $650 for someone who makes it a very easy sale. New, that's probably a $1k-$1.2k cap.

You didn't. You asked for a price, which is OK. You did not advertise it was for sale for a specific price, which is not. Subscribe to the thread "What have you done to your 2nd Gen today" and you will be at 50 posts in no time and your wallet will be lighter as well!

Hey guys. Looking for a couple things:

Exhaust.

2012+ matte black AC/Heat control module and clock/hazard thing that goes over it.

Awning.

 

Brand new never installed only tested in my basement - Waterport Tank reservoir
Comes with the hose, nozzle and then the hose attachment. I was going to install it but I'm going a different route.

Asking 75$ picked up in Waltham, MA - This thing literally only saw like 3-4 fill ups and empties to make sure it functioned fine.

How did you plan on installing it? Does it have mounts?

 

I bought it without the mounts - it was going to be custom mounted to the inside on the roof of my cap but that never happened and I have since diverted my interest to another project.
