600 and beyond. Some people consider 200 a long distance and thats fine to, but the sights also geared toward hunting rifles/ love of hunting and such.

Anyone have first hand experience with the burris Tac30?

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004...rris+tac30&dpPl=1&dpID=415nEn8oakL&ref=plSrch

I currently have a UTG Bug Buster on my AR and looking for something with a better sight picture.

The bug buster isn't awful, for $75 it's a pretty good deal, but not really great, if you're not perfectly in line with the scope you can't see shit, it's hard to get a good sight picture when prone. The field of view is also rather narrow. The cross hairs are also a little larger than I'd like.

Just a little loathe to drop a guns worth on glass but I guess that's the game.

Wish I had a place to shoot 600yrds.

Longest public range I've been to is 150yrds.

I have family with private property several states over with large private property but don't have many opportunities to visit, especially not with my rifle. Don't even have much of a rifle to reach out anyway. :bananadead:

Then your in the right sight NOW! LOL. But seriously, some of the sights can be intimidating at first, because there are a lot of hard asses on them. So you have to pick an choose as you go. I believe the NRA has a list of gun forums on there sight.

That's me, mostly. Unless I'm hunting a cornfield/hayfield, by the time a round has traveled 200 yards around here it'll have gone through about 10 trees

I've not, didn't know Sig made glass in that category. Last I had played with from them was their Romeo I believe.

Does it come with a reflex red dot premounted like the Tac30?

Actually a big fan of Sig, handguns at least.

I really want to get into three gun.

I hunt ground hogs/coyotes for the Amish, so lots of reaching out there. I've even taken my 17HMR rimfire out 300 yards so any center fire you have would be more than sufficient to start reaching out. obviously a dollar value equals accuracy but you'll still get there.

Yes, sig has many AR style scopes
A red dot can aways be mounted on any scope via the rings with a little rail prebuilt on top, and you can find those pretty easy.

Only centerfire I've got currently. Saving for a SCAR17s but the Tacoma has a few priorities ahead of gun fund. Got to make due with 5.56 for now.

Current carry guns. Actually carry the revolver the most. Hopefully they make a stainless CZ someday.
