Picked up some 3/16” drops from K&K. Going to start the gussets for the trailing arm.

If some of you don’t remember what I’m talking about. It’s for all the pieces in the arm that go from the top to the bottom.

Go back and get some P&O or spend the time to take ALL the mill scale off those pieces. You'll thank me later when you weld it up, or Corey if you are having him TIG it.

Any of you northern folk have or know of a rental in Ft Collins in the $1500 range? 2 beds, a yard would be ideal for the degs. Townhome, house, duplex, let me know. Landed an opportunity with Noble Midstream and will be driving that way daily - so Golden isn’t cutting it. Move in as soon as possible.

It needs to stop snowing. MT tires and the snow don't mix.

Nothing yet... The valley is dry. Would like some though, it'd be less dusty for carving a driveway

Id like to weld a plate in the middle of this bumper, in front of where the radiator is. Can someone advise me on the thickness of steel I should get?

    1. Thickness of steel?
    2. After I get it can someone help me cut it to size? I dont have a plasma cutter yet.

    Thanks!

Cool bumper. How would you want to sit the plate on there? Do you want to go to the bottom of the frame? Or just to the bottom of the square frame part of the bumper. If you go with steel you'll only need 1/8" because it looks like you'll never contact anything there. You'll most likely hit your frame first. If your worried about hitting it you can go thicker. I would have to see it in person to really know for sure.

Edit: Oh I see you said weld..... Since you want to weld you'll have to consider a lot before you weld it on compared to bolt on.

Thanks, bolting it on isnt out of the question at all. Probably will just cover the square section for now.

Oh ok. Sounds like you know what you want. I have no way of cutting a perfect piece for that seaction because I cut everything with cutting wheels and a grinder. Takes a steady hand to do long cuts with a grinder. I don't have steady hands.
