i picked my truck up from install and was really happy with it. The overall setup is just what I wanted. Rides like stock, but it stiffer on turns at highway speeds.

I have two issues. The first is the traction control light. It was not on when I left the install shop. I dropped it off at the alignment shop and it is stuck on. They said they tried to clear with a computer 6 times. I tried to use my traction control button but it doesn’t even seem like it cycles through the options. The only difference was the tire size before and after. I don’t know if the light was on before the tires or not.

The second issue is minor. I went with Dick Cepek Extreme country 255/85/16 and I rub on the knobby part of the front mud flap. What is the best option there without complete removal.

install shop fucked an abs sensor wire. Take it back to them and tell them to fix it on their dime.

I really don’t think that is the case. After reading through the thread linked above it is common after adding a lift and alignment for the VSC light to come on. Seems like I need to recalibrate. I will definitely get underneath in the daylight tomorrow and have a look to see if the wires are damaged at all. I want to inspect the cv boots for damage from the install as well.

Cut/remove the front mud flap. Do you really need it?

Take the front flaps off. Two 10mm bolts on each side.

A quality proper scanner (snap on modis) can recalibrate a yaw rate sensor. I’ve seen this issue before.

I think both the ABS light, and Traction Control lights would be on if that were the case. Been there, fixed that haha

On a brighter note it looks pretty good after the lift.

I want something to keep the road debris and other stuff from chipping the underside of my truck. Do I need those shitty stock ones, no. I would prefer a piece of rubber cut to shape and flexible.

Manual VSC reset and calibration. I had to do it when I replaced my Spiral cable behind the steering wheel. Super simple. There are threads on here that show you how to do with with a jumper wire across some terminals on the OBDII port.

Removed the front mudflaps as a temporary fix. I am going to attempt to modify them to make them work. There is a gap near the fender flare that dirt and debris sits in. Living in the rust belt I could like to close that gap off if I can. Does anyone know if husky liner or weather tech has a better design without the humps. There is only a very small part of the mud flap catching and it is mid turn. Full lock seems and straight is fine with no rubbing.

Whats the offset on the wheels? Do you have spacers?
