Oh I didn't even think about making sure there was enough slack for suspension travel!

 

So I'm thinking of ditching the Kings after speaking to @jeff b and going Bilsteins.

Anyone know if these are good to go if I add steel bumpers in later?

 

Bumpers and weight is all in the springs....
When i added my bumper and winch, i switched from 13" 650lb to 14" 700lb springs in the front...

 

So I could just swap springs. Good to know. Someone in STL is selling OME 886's for $60. Too bad someone beat me to em.

 

I'm a parts guys...that's all I do. Find shit. For weirdo stuff like our Volvo 240 rally car for instance.....figure out what you need....I can find it...

Found someone selling Eibach 620lb springs (the same ones from the kit I was going to buy) for $40 Now to try to snag them, if they are in good condition.

 

Did you use a 6ft hose? That's whats in the kits.

Edit: Nvm, I see you ran it to just behind the tailight instead of all the way to the gas cap.

 

That's how it starts...find many sources to acquire things....and start hawking. I bet peddling parts for a decade and half, it is nothing more than acquiring things....

 

I had ten feet or so, I bet it was eight or so. As you noticed, I drooped the suspension to make sure I had enough length.

 

Got there late again. Gonna have to just sit on my hands for now and do the cheap mods till after I buy the house. Then I can hunt for parts aggressively.

My diff breather kit came in! @Sociopenguin Did you use regular old teflon tape for the union or some loctite of some sort? I need to pick that up and two small hose clamps and then throw this on.

If the weather doesn't start warming up I'm going to have to pull my tailgate off and bring it inside to get my measurements finally. What a PITA Missouri has been this month.

I'm heading out to KSRocks this saturday with my wife and a friend, he's got a lifted F-150 4x4 he wants to take out and the wife said I have to go with her before I get to go with all the Toyota Club 4x4's Sunday the 29th. Hoping to not pinstripe the truck too bad lol. It's also a 4x4 101 day at KSRocks so maybe we will jump on that and learn a thing or two. Need to order my Rhino strap and my 4 wheeler cv axles too so I can get it ready for Colorado too.
Then I may fix it up completely and list it for $4k if anyone's interested. Its only got about 300 hours on it but I took both front CV's out after a boot tore and the bearing broke and ate the teeth on the end of the LF shaft.
