    Eh screw it. I'll ask here. I need an advice on rear shocks. I was thinking budget build, but my wife decided to get me top notch front Coil-Overs...
    So, I was thinking of getting medium duty Dakar with U bolt flip and super bumps. Not Deavers which cost ~ $400 more than Dakars.
    Now, since I don't have to buy front COs, how much sense would Kings make with Dakars? (I know @Blackout14 has something going on with leafs and Tundra shocks, but I will not have constant weight in the bed, so I don't know if his setup would make sense fot me).
    So what's the consensus about that around here?





    If that was covered already, kindly point me in right direction or tell me to fuck off lol.

    Yep. 2.5 inch lift in front with 700lb springs and the dakars did the same in the rear.

    OK... Those looked like standard location mounts... So you have pretty much exactly what I was thinking about.
    I believe downsouth extend kings to accommodate for extra height of Dakars (vs Deavers) Is that what you have?

    That is a good question...
    I have a feeling that Icon rears might have more travel than standard Kings. @stairgod will know more about that

    No clue. Never bothered looking into rear shocks for stock mounts. I went right to the relocate and 12s. I would assume however that both Icon and King have longer than stock shocks for the factory mounts. The biggest thing is to pick whether you want digressive valved shocks(Icon) or progressive (King, Fox)
