Well the weathetech liner in the taco finally wore out in the “clutch foot heel area” and split. You guys got any better alternatives for replacement or is WT still the king of the hill?

I haven't had any problems with my Husky liners. It is a little worn around the clutch heel area, but no signs of giving up just yet. Had them in the truck since it was purchased in 08, previous owner installed.

Contact Weathertech and see if they cover it under their lifetime warranty.

    https://www.weathertech.com/service/warranty/

EDIT: I've had rubber shoe soles split. That is not wear, but a defect in the rubber's compound which affected flexibility.

I've had Husky and Weathertech. You pay a little more for Weathertech, but the fit and finish is so much superior.

I have Huskies right now. They're just fine until I get a chance to do what I really want, which is pull the damn carpet out entirely and replace it with vinyl.

I might be the lone exception, mine shrank, curled up and now look and fit like shit. They're barely a year and half old and my Tacoma is a second vehicle that get driven once or twice a week

Husky... Two years old in my truck and look brand new after a good rinsing at truck wash time... Fit is splendid, and carpet looks like brand new below... That and a few bucks will get you a cup of coffee from a drive through
    Good luck

Nope, you aren't. My Mom has Weathertechs in her car and that happened as well, which was part of the reason I went with Huskies. Hers warped and now don't even sit flat on the floor, which causes them to slide around more than they should.

Also put a set in my Mazda 6... And the fit is superb there too... Don't think you can go wrong with the Husky brand

Its wear and tear...nothing you can do about it unless you put a metal plate in that area and seal it up from leaking out.

Weathertech has a big head as a company I mean seriously why are they hundreds of dollars? I could run new carpet and no floor liners if these wear out as fast as you guys liners do. Not bashing because they look cool but they are heavy and imo not really worth the money.

Husky for sure. They trap all the crud in their deep trenches and are very easy to clean. You'll need to devise a method for keeping them secure in place though because they will ride forward constantly.

of course I cant find the you tube link... I saw a you tube video of a start up company who is making floor mats that are rather unique. There is a Weather Tech style bottom piece to trap all of the junk and a removable honey-comb top layer that you put your feet on. Take the honey comb top off then grab the bottom trap layer and dump it. Sand and dirt dont get ground into the mat with these...

    found it

front fits great in my double cab, very little cutting. The rear not so much. I pretty much cut everything away expect the "tray" part for the rear. The rear passenger area on our trucks is so small nothing will really fit back there.

Husky back liner fits my access cab like it was meant to... Perfectly
