normally Id agree. But not since Im trying to NOT buy more stuff since we are more than likely going ot be selling in the next two years.

Cheap harbor freight one I got for free so not to worried on that. No way I'd do that with my nice Dewalt one

What's a good propane grille these days? My 10 year old Weber has lived a long life but is starting to fall apart and is really too small for our family of 6 plus friends and relatives. Charbroil and other cheaper brands seem to have plenty of reviews that they rust out quickly, but so do the new (insanely expensive) Webers.

I’m still a fan of Weber. Crazy prices but the lifespan is far greater than anything else I’ve seen.

Current grille is plumbed directly into the house propane supply, so I basically have a 500 gallon tank to operate from.

If it’s outta the elements (covered porch) I would be looking into a commercial kitchen charbroiler. Maybe at a used restaurant supply store if that’s a thing?

A new Weber and a cover. I actually just picked up a filthy 3 year old Weber Genesis II with 2 tanks of propane for $100. Spent an hour cleaning it and it shined up like new. Even sold my 25 year old Weber for $75. They are so well made but the newest ones in stores now look kinda weird with the clamshell lids.
My advice is watch Craigslist, offer up, Facebook marketplace, and let go and find a good deal on a gently used one.

Im not picturing how you would safely do that when the plywood is screwed into the cabinets and getting a saw-z-all blade between the two is no easy task...especially without damaging the cabinets.

I think any damage would be minimal if you steer the blade up into the countertop and would be hidden by the new top.

I like to have some help from you guys.

I need to trim the bottom of the door as I am changing to thicker carpet. I have checked some youtube videos. It seems like I need to use the masking tape to prevent the tipping of the door. A few videos used a skill saw and the other used a hand planer. Skill saw vs. planer, which one would you suggest?

I need to do this work outside of my town. Skill saw/hand planer will be rented. I have never used a hand planer. I guess I need to trim 1/2"at most. Handyman will charge $189 (and I am not sure if he will do a good job). The location is South San Francisco.

    Any tips/advice will be appreciated.

I get that part...its more how to get a blade between the screwed down plywood and the cabinet. Let alone getting at the screws in the rear or in the middle.

But either way think I have the "best" method figured out for tools on hand. The mason chisel works ok but will still take a bit. But the air hammer
works quite well....which makes sense since its (more or less) the same principle as a hammer drill.
