I once went to SF back in the day when I had my E30 and I was glad I didn't have a front plate. No right turn on red and red light cameras = f that place.

I sold a seat cushion to a fireman in downtown San Francisco once. I asked him where to park outside his station and he told me to "Just double park, we do it all the time."

Depending on the shock lengths you can get Icon for around 500 with a resi...If you like Icon

Stuff and things that make it better.
I'd just swap that out for a Bernard gun, made my Miller work much smoother.

x2 ... I went with those remote resi 2.0 Icons in the rear, I picked them up for $520 through HS if I remember right. Got them a little cheaper than they advertised because they price matched another company. They're great shocks, no complaints from me. Held up really well bombing through the Mojave desert last week for 3 days straight. So did my Kings up front.

That trip made me realize I really, really need to upgrade my front bumpstops though. Holy hell...it was like a concussion grenade went off in my truck when I hit them hard a few times.

My washer fluid reservoir has a hole in it, but only on the neck towards the top well above the fill line.

As for the topic, today I sanded rust spots on the bed and hood. Gonna finish and primer them tomorrow. Would love a paint job, but at this age I'll put that money towards a down payment on a new 3rd gen.

What's up with all the self tappers? I'd choke someone out if the inside of my door looked like that

As much as I want a 3rd gen I'm not convinced the quality is all there yet. I looked at a new SR5 at the dealer at the pillar badges were crooked and the bedside decals on the off road crooked.

They're holding the 1/8 pvc panel on that supports the sound deadener.

I don't know how anyone can live there. There's people I went to college with that despite making good money are still shacked up with roommates.

Add a relay, one that is triggered by a source that is only hot when key is on or accessory, so it won't be possible to drain the battery. There is a source in the under hood fuse box that you can tap into with an add-a-circuit fuse.

Living in the city is rediculously expensive, but I do love San francisco, food is amazing, lots to do, not toooo far from the mountains, and as a surfer, the waves are fucn heavy and super fucn fun, cold and sharky, but perfect. Some people fall in love with the place and will pay those prices. You can live outside of the city and still get to enjoy it. Never really understood the $5000 a month two bedroom rent with no utilities.
