The guy was asking $1000 for the set. I offered $600....hoping not to offend him. He said $700 and I jumped on it. I had to drive a couple of hours to get them. No biggie though.

Now I have basically new tires and 2 sets of rims.

Thanks brother. The sell to the wife was easy. I showed her the $900+ dollars new tires were going to cost. Then showed her I could get wheels and tires for $700. She said sure

The -15 mm of additional negative offset from the wheels plus the 70 ratio tire (stock is 65) helps too. Tires sit close to flush now.

32 years together has taught me that having her blessing on things makes whatever I'm doing/buying easier.

    Feels about the same really.

The rolling diameter is just over an inch more. Most Toyotas on stock tires are under calibrated by 2-3% on indicated speed. So an indicated 70 mph is closer to 68 actual. Well, a 3% increase in rolling diameter corrects that (which is about where I'm at now). I tested it yesterday on the way to work against my GPS. An indicated 70 was also the actual

Oh I hear ya, been a married man for a long time myself so I know what you are saying :D

I just really like how those wheels and tires just fill up the wheel well on your truck. Really do it well.

A 265/70/17 is basically a 31" tire. I was a little concerned about some rubbing on the front mudgaurds. But nope. Everything clears nicely

Understood. People either love 'em or hate 'em.

I'm a mudgaurd kinda guy.

If they ones on taco and tundra we’re so Fning huge I wouldn’t mind them. But even trimmed down they are still F350 dually sized

Thank ya. There are 2 versions of this rim. All silver which I think were available on the last year for the FJ. Then the silver with the black insert areas. Obviously I have that one. I think I like this version a little better. But both are good looking....though they might be a bit shiny for some people's taste

I like the 1st gen tundra mudflaps or they may be 2nd gen tundras. But the mudflaps say Toyota and they look clean. I wanna get a pair and try to fit them on my 1st gen.

There are companies that make aftermarket flaps that are shorter.
