I got my crickets taken care of for the time being but dang it if they didn’t flash my ECU back or it reset from battery negative pulled. Haven’t driven it for over a week but she doesn’t have the power she had

I’ll be in the same boat as soon as my new fuel pump arrives. I disconnected my battery cable on my own during some things I was doing, but it didn’t affect the tune. Likely they flashed you....

So I heard the tune helps cure driveline vibrations due to the change in RPMs.

Serious question:

I have gotten the ECGS bushing in my driver side CV. I have 2.5 degree shims between the rear Dakar leaf pack and the axle and I have gone from 1/16” all the way up to 1/2” of spacer in the carrier bearing. And finally I have taken my driveline to a pro shop to have it looked at.

No matter what I do I get a weird harmonic rhythmic vibration from about 38mph to 43mph. This is the only place it occurs and it happens more when slowing down even if my foot is off the gas.

Any thoughts?

 

WTF... This tune has nothing to do with drive line vibrations, where did you hear that?

 

One of the guys on here said the revs changed since it doesn’t lack the constant RPMs and his vibes went away

 

Will there be any changes to shift points? Such as 4th and 5th gears for mountainous driving to try and fix the gear dance?

 

Will there ever be a 89 tune? 91 is very hard to find around here. @OVTune

 

Check the balance on your tires?
Check the driveline angle in relation to the flange of the 3rd member?
Sounds dumb but make sure the shims are facing the right way.

 

It's unlikely most A/T guys would care about or even notice the throttle changes at low speed. Torque converter just glasses over all the weirdness anyway
