Enough to make it a lot of fun!
The pass isn't too bad. I just drove to Walden and back today and it is mostly just wet.

    What did you get done?
It just looks like you made a mess with a backhoe.

If your planing on on using that same soil to back fill. Make sure you use a good amount of water or it will never compact correctly. It being sandy with cobble stone. But you already know this.....

Septic tank holes, leach field, scraped in the driveway and cleared a spot for the greenhouse since I'll put fence on the ground to keep the prairie dogs out.

    still... Thinking about a bunker.

Yeah all the nice stuff will probably get washed out by the time i get around to filling it in for good. I have a pile of better stuff but I'll probably end up with just getting a trailer or two of stuff from the quarry. Can't beat the <$10/ton prices for filtered stuff. It'll be time to see how much the tundra can pull.

Going to drop gravel/road base on the driveway tomorrow if they are open.

Cool bud, I've done underground (dry and wet ultilies) in San Diego for 10 yrs and 1 year in a large mine. Learned a lot about different soils and still learning. I've worked with that stuff before.

Yeah, the poles I had sitting from the test holes had most of the dirt blown away and was mostly rocks. Gotta learn to live in the hurricane area.
