I think it may have been voted on by the fans. Not sure though. Dont know why they didn't give out a current player like Eichel. They are giving out Ulmark(current goalie) tonight in Rochester at the Amerks game.

I should add, this is the second game that my wife and I went to this year. Both times we didn't pay a dime for the seats. Saw the Sens and the Jets play, the sabres not so much. I also won tickets to another game and gave them away. Its tuff being a Sabres fan right now.

 

It seems to me a Hasak booblehead should be laying down. Throw up a pick of it.

 

I did, check up three posts. He is laying on his side kicking up one leg. On a side note, the Sabres wore the Winter classic unis and they do look outstanding. I hope they switch to the old lighter blue unis going forward.

That being said I don't have a lot of confidence going into the playoffs without Suter, we'll get Spurgeon back in time but will probably be too little too late.

I will be turning my attention away form the NHL this weekend as I got the college hockey final I wanted, UMD vs Notre Dame. I love the home state bulldogs, but ND likes to recruit form the high school I went to.

 

So you can trade it for something that doesn't whine.

 

Don't worry, you'll still pack the building when the Leafs are in town jks. On the serious side it has been a tough slog for the Sabres basically going all the way back to when Miller left. Hopefully management has figured out that changes beyond taking flyers on high risk players are needed.

 

Its that way anytime a Canadian team is in town but the Leafs are by far the most in attendance. Who can blame them, its a cheap way to see the team compared to trying to get seats to a Leafs home game. btw the Sabres split the series with the Leafs this year. Worst team in the league but its still fun to beat the Leafs.

 

Way to bury the ot goal on the floundering wild. Brown is baaaack, go Kings !!!

 

The Leafs were consistent this year at playing up or down to their competition. Not a good thing by any means.

 

They should do a best of 7 series for 30 and 31. Whoever wins gets first pick.

I gather it was a head-on collision?

I have never understood how we humans decided it would be fine to have vehicles passing within a couple of feet of each other head-on at 100km/hr.

 

That stretch of highway is a piece of crap at the best of times let alone Winter.
