    Well, since the Fall Camp & Ride I've bought bigger/better tires, added sliders, hidden winch, a real rack, roof rack, HC bumper, and I've got a full set of belly skids, LCA skids, and a shackle flip getting prepped to go on. There's really not much left, aside from SAS and/or 35's.

    ETA: Somehow forgot the snorkel!

    Alternatively, you take it about as far as can reasonably take it and then end up selling it after a few years and getting a newer model causing you to start all over again. :rofl:

    I was actually just thinking earlier that if I hadn't bought this, I'd have an econobox that was paid off, a hot rod Dodge Ram that was also paid off, and (theoretically) an extra $10 grand in the bank. Or I'd have a second motorcycle. Or a boat.

    But I'm glad I bought the Taco. :anonymous:

    For those with lifts and struggling with the carrier bearing vibration, a word of caution: check those u joints. It's easy to dismiss a drive line vibration when one exists. Thus was my case, and I ignored a small vibration for about 5 minutes about 1k miles into a road trip, then... BANG! Front u joint fragged and knocked a whole in the transfer case actuator. $$$

    This afternoon I cobbled together a few lengths of unitstrut to mount my Plano case and traction boards to the OEM roof rack I installed on Easter. Followed that up with installing my SOS IFS and transmission skids. The transfer case skid will have to wait until later this week or Saturday. I'll snag some pictures tomorrow.

    I haven't been out to Bulow for a hot minute (almost 20 years), so I can't really comment there. Tiger Bay State Forest runs between 40 in Ormond and US 92 west of Daytona. That's a nice place to do some chill exploring, but most can be navigated in a lowered Honda Civic. The section south of 92 might be a little more interesting, but I similarly haven't been out there for about 15 years. Ocala National Forest is about an hour or so west of Ormond (via SR 40). Lots of trails and exploring to be done out there.
