Just purchased the ADS level two suspension package. I think I’m keeping my stock rims as I haven’t been able to find a decent deal on wheel and tire packages.. Maybe I just don’t know where to look. So Spidertrax it is..?

I’m looking for something that is going to perform well Offroad, in the snow and have a good tread life. Everything is pointing towards duratrac tires. I can only find them in an E rated tire.

Any other suggestions or possibilities I should be considering?

Duratracs are proven in the snow, have good tread life and usually run a couple to five lbs. lighter than their competitors that use beefier side walls. By competitors, I mean E-rated the AT3W, KO2, & S/TMaxx

    I’m looking for a 275 or 285. I guess I should’ve specified.

Actually the exact set up I had on my truck. Ads with resi in front dirt king uppers ads piggy backs in the rear 1.25 spidertrac wheel spacers on my stock trd wheels with duratracs. I loved the set up. Dirt snow pavement was all great. Averaged about 55k miles out of them.

On a light little truck like a Tacoma, E’s aren’t necessary except for hardcore rock crawling.

    You can get a 285 C load KO2 around 51lbs for weight.

I have enjoyed my 265 70 r17 General Grabber At2s but live in florida, so lots of senior drivers but no snow to deal with. Relatively quiet on road similar to Duratracs. They were a bit lighter than the KO2's in the same size and come in c rated in both sizes.

Nothing wrong with e load tires on a tacoma. Don't worry too much about the load rating like I did. It really doesn't amount to anything in ride difference.

Ridge Grapplers have been really good to me. So far good in rain, snow and off road. Not sure what your wheel size is, but they only come in 17s.

thats a good weight for C load 285s, go on Tiresize.com and you can check most of brands and see the weights.
