Many vehicles I owned were government fleet and usually at 100k or more. Definitely a bargaining chip but not a concern as I see it

Frickin' slamming today. Crazy busy for a Saturday, which I'm not particularly pleased about since I'm working with a pair of lazy dipsh*ts.

Ha, glad I am not the only one who hates white vehicles. The F-150 I drove to see how I felt about the 2.7 was white. Specs were almost dead on to what I wanted to order, just missing a couple things that I could have added later, and had one or two extras that I didn't care about. Salesman was trying to talk me into it but I just couldn't. If it were any other color I would have grabbed it then and there rather than ordering.

I 100% agree. There are so many service vehicles and they are almost always white and I can't blame them for easy to clean/match exc. But to have one for myself? Never (unless it was a service vehicle), they are way too boring looking for me. It's like living in a house with all white walls. I just couldn't do it. I guess I need a little color in my life

I wanted white when I bought the F'n'J. Didn't care for the white roof on the other colors and there weren't many TTUE Heritage Blue ones around.
OTOH, not too many FJ fleet vehicles around lately.

Isn't the FJ's an off white? Or maybe that was a special edition version

It's called Iceberg. It's definitely different from Super White.
My BIL has a Super White Taco and parking next to him , they're not the same.

Here is another phrase I used with a AH boss I worked with.
His process was stop the job your working on and start this new job because it's more important. Then he would come back in a few hours later wanting the first job you started . You actually loose concentration jumping from job to job. Mistakes are made and progress is lost jumping from job to job.

So I said this to him." You can have the job right or you can have it now but you can' have it right now".

In my whole working lifetime he was the only boss I despised .
Let me put it this way, if there was a line waiting to beat the s..t out of him I would never get a turn as the
line was a long one .
Watch your health because you don't need that stress.

Who needed their windshield replaced? My girl just had hers done by JN Philips. Looks like they did a great job.

I can't say my colors are awfully interesting. Never had anything that wasn't some shade of brown/tan/gray/silver. But at least they aren't white.

I ordered my F150 in "lead foot" which is kind of like Toyota's cement color but a few shades darker.

I hear you and I agree. I saw the MGM on Camrys before they put it on a Tacoma and I said to my wife I'll definitely get one in THAT color if they ever put it on a Tacoma. Ordered for me and picked up my MGM Taco on 10/3/08. Actually I ordered it before I even saw one in person. Pretty sad I was geeked out over a grey color but I liked it. I also really like the Indigo Blue that they used to make. I wish they put that color back on, it would probably be my next color choice

Saw these two in my travels this morning.

Not a fan of the cap, but would love to have either in my driveway.

I was set on Ford's "magnetic" color, which is pretty much the same as Toyota's. Then I saw lead foot and they told me it could be ordered without the appearance package that I didn't like, so that's what I went with.

The color seems to range pretty widely depending on camera exposure or lighting, but this looks closest to what I saw in person on an overcast day:

Best I have of my specific truck so far is their computer generated graphic, but hopefully I have a real picture by Thursday:

Yeah but this is not a work truck for you it's your personal ride. Watch, I bet at some point you'll try to unlock and step into someone else's truck. Lol

"here for service" LOL, I've a neighbor with a little used Toyota Pickup. They have a sign in the window "not for sale". Guess they get a lot of knocks on the door....I was going to knock on their door until I saw the sign. Love the vintage Toyotii.

What's everyone's plan for their truck this year?
I think I'm going to focus on replacing worn parts, like the floor mats, the hazy headlights, maybe fix some of the scratches in the paint.

I have some adjustable Billies loaded with Toyotec 620 springs to install in the truck. I need UCA's, still researching on what brand will work with stock steel wheels and 255/85R16 pizza cutters. I have diff breather mod parts in the basement. Maybe a snorkel if I pick up a replacement fender to cut up. All that for runs to work and HD...
